BK Telematics, one of the largest and fastest-growing IoT companies, was honored with a Gold Award at this year’s Best City Awards 2025 – the leading awards recognizing Innovation and Quality of Life in Greek cities.
The winners were announced on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Riviera Coast, during a vibrant and dynamic awards ceremony attended by award recipients, members of the judging committee, representatives of the Government and the business community, as well as journalists.

Now in their 8th consecutive year, the Best City Awards 2025, a well-established institution in Greece, showcased the most outstanding practices and solutions of the past year, highlighting that participating organizations:

• embrace the vision of modern smart cities, leveraging innovation and cutting-edge technologies to improve governance efficiency and strengthen local economies, and
• adopt new, sustainable approaches to address major societal challenges such as unemployment, entrepreneurship development, social exclusion, and environmental degradation.

During an event filled with optimism for the present and future of Greek cities, approximately 300 executives from local authorities and businesses received their awards, posed for photographs with partners and members of the evaluation committee, gave on-camera statements, and engaged in informal networking and discussions.
